Forget Thanksgiving turkey and all the trimmings… my usual 4-day holiday weekend is mostly overshadowed by the anticipated shopping I’m going to partake in. See, my family and I would read through all the ads to make our game plan for the wee hours in the morning of intense shopping. So I never really know where I’m going (after Target) and who I’m shopping for. That’s the fun and excitement about Black Friday shopping!
My first time was in 2003(ish). My cousin and I stood in line at CompUSA in Waikele. I went in straight for my TiVo in the very back and stood straight in line. That year, got my TiVo for only $19. Fricken steal! (Fun fact: It still works just fine today!)

That hurts for me as there’s no time to nap for a few hours AND weed out the weaklings from the die-hards who can wake up at 3am to get in the store at 4am. Now that Target opened at midnight and Wal-Mart at 10-fricken-pm, that means it’s free for all who is still awake from Thanksgiving dinner. I suspect there will be more people, naturally. I hate that!
Half the fun and getting to be aggressive and throw some ‘bows at bitches who try to take shit away from you when you got there first. LOVE IT! Here are a few tips I’ve picked up along the way over the past few years:
